Areas of Focus

I work with individuals who may be experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges, seeking emotional wellness, who are feeling stuck, struggling in relationships, exploring their sense of self or needing some clarity as they navigate life transitions.

As a Canadian Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional (CC-PMH), I support folks throughout their perinatal journies. This might include topics such as:

  • Supporting folks along their fertility, pregnancy, post-partum and parenting journeys

  • Pregnancy loss and termination

  • Matresence & the transition into motherhood

  • Birth and postpartum planning, processing birth trauma or birth stories

I believe that difficult times invite us into opportunity for change, growth and transformation. I've been there too, and know how hard it can be. I also believe that you are capable, strong and resilient - and it's my goal to reflect these qualities back to you.

I am here to support you on your journey inward, to help you remember your strengths, nourish your nervous system and (re)connect with who you are.

Availability:

Monday: 2 - 7pm (in person/virtual)

Approach to Therapy

I view therapy as a collaborative, exploratory and creative process. Together, let's lean into an embodied space that encourages you to feel more grounded, present and aligned with your sense of Self, your values and relationships. Our work together will invite you to honour the experience of being a human as you ebb and flow through the seasons of life. As a yoga teacher, I have a focus on embodiment and the mind-body connection which informs my practice.

The backbone of my work is drawn from Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)I regularly draw on other modalities (such as mindfulness, somatic approaches, Narrative Therapy, self-compassion and Polyvagal theory) into my work as well. No matter the approach, all of my work is client centered, trauma informed as well as LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent affirming.

On a personal note

I'm a mama to a spunky toddler & a sweet rescue dog and a dedicated partner. I'm an aspiring sourdough bread baker, a wannabe world traveller and am known to choose a new hobby every other month.

Above all, I'm a human first. I know that being a human is not always easy. You are worthy of support and for space for you to land while on this journey. Together, let's co-create a space where all parts, emotions and experiences are compassionately welcomed.
